What is Buckwheat?
Buckwheat is a naturally gluten-free seed that’s often mistaken for a grain. It comes from a flowering plant and has been used in traditional cooking around the world for centuries. We love it for its earthy, nutty flavour and its ability to nourish the body simply and naturally.
Why is buckwheat good for me?
Buckwheat is full of goodness, it’s a good source of plant-based fibre, protein and essential minerals like magnesium, iron, and zinc. It supports digestion, helps keep you fuller for longer, and fuels you with slow-release energy. It’s wholesome, satisfying, and easy on the body.
I am Gluten free, can I eat buckwheat?
Absolutely. Buckwheat is completely free from gluten, making it a great choice for those with gluten sensitivities or coeliac disease. While we only use gluten-free ingredients in our products, please note they’re not made in a certified gluten-free facility, so there may be trace amounts present.
Where are your Products made?
All of our products are handmade in small batches. We design and test everything in Currumbin Valley nestled in the lush hinterland of the Gold Coast. It’s a place known for its natural beauty, strong community, and slower way of life - all of which inspire how and what we bake.
We keep things simple, local where possible, and always made with care.
What can I do with your Products?
Our products are made to fit into your everyday — whether you’re packing a wholesome snack for school or work, enjoying a morning treat with your coffee, or reaching for something satisfying in the afternoon. They’re also perfect on a cheese board with a glass of wine or a chilled kombucha. However you enjoy them, we hope they bring a little moment of joy to your day.
